Tech Prep College Credits Overview
Students in Dakota County High Schools have the opportunity to earn Tech Prep College Credit certificates, indicating they successfully completed the course requirements. . The certificates are generally for entry level college courses. The student presents the certificate at the time of college registration to get college credit.
Students earn Tech Prep College Credit certificates to apply locally to Dakota County Technical College or Inver Hills Community College. To see a list of Tech Prep College Course per high school; click here.
Students can also earn regional Tech Prep College Credit certificates to participating Minnesota State Colleges in Southern Minnesota.
