Request Tech Prep College Credit Certificate

Each Articulation Certificate lists:

  • A generic or college course name
  • The college(s) that has(have) agreed to articulate
  • The course name and number for a given college
  • The college semester credit(s) earned
  • On the back are the Course Goals or Guidelines

Teachers must teach ALL of the Course Goals listed.
Students must receive a grade of "B" or better and master 80% of the skills listed.

At the end of the grading period:

  • Register your students names on the "Request For Tech Prep College Credit Certification" form below.
    Official Certificates will have students names printed on them and mailed back to you.
  • You will complete the blanks on the front of the certificates, and be sure to include your signature.
  • Check off each of the competencies, on the back of the form, that the student has mastered at 80% performance level or better.
  • Make a PHOTOCOPY of this certificate and file in the students school file.
  • Give the original certificate to the student.
  • Be sure to tell the student that the certificate must be kept in a safe place, as he/she will need it upon enrollment in a higher education institution in order to receive the advanced standing credit listed on the certificate.

Click on “Southern Minnesota Regional Tech Prep College Credits”
