Class Articulation Application
High School Instructors
- Are you interested in offering your students college credit?
- Do you teach a course similar to one of those listed as an articulated course?
- Do you teach a course that is not on the list but would like to explore the possibility of articulating with an area college?
If you answered YES to any of these questions, please fill in the information below and SUBMIT. The Tech Prep office will be sure you are contacted by college staff and the necessary form(s) sent to you for signature.
The process is SIMPLE! You are interested in offering articulated credit to your students for one of the courses listed on the articulation page.
- You will receive a list of course goals (syllabus) that must be taught. Compare this list to your syllabus.
- Determine that your curriculum matches or that you are able to add any missing components.
- A college instructor will contact you to schedule a meeting (in person or over the phone) to discuss textbooks, materials, and exams used.
- You and a school administrator will sign a Course Articulation Agreement.
- You can now promote your class to students, and in your course catalog, as offering DUAL CREDIT. The student will receive both high school and college credit (for the college you have articulated with.)
- Your students must master 80% of all goals at a final grade of "B" or better.
- Then simply fill in the names, on the appropriate form, of all students that have earned a certificate and SUBMIT.
- The Tech Prep office will issue articulation certificates for your students.
